We had a great Christmas with all our kids at home Christmas Eve spent up in Logan Thanks Unc' Marv and Aunt Shelly for hosting the annual party nativity play and pinata.



and as you can see the gifting was larger than they are and some were not.







Also in the past month Was Eric's Birthday party. At Fat cats we had friends and family pizza, bowling gaming and watching the super fun ifly. (Which we can't wait to go back and do)

Oh my back into life

ok ok I will finally admit that my stubborn head and walk away attitude have finally caught up pace and kicked me in the backside.

Where have I been? I have spent so long running from everything in my past and confining myself to my little bubble of industry, work and independence that I did not only forget to stop and smell the roses I have completely missed the fields of tulips that grew as well. What I mean by that????? Well lets just say I finally started blogging before Halli was born and I stink at it. I don't keep things updated, I complain about not enough hours in my day to do it, then wham-o- I jump onto face book. Ok ok it seems odd that I used to work in the computer industry and find myself completely out of touch with it now in just a couple years. I'm so lost. Anyhow I linked up to some old time friends and checked blogs and facebook stuff and I am so behind the times. I think my attempts at blogging and facebook are LAME!!!!!

So I need a remedy.... Auntie Char I need a day of blogging and facebooking, to go with our lunch and shopping spree's. I need your expertise Auntie Char and of course Monica!!!! I seriously want to be better at these things. And believe me I am not going to complain about my poor empty house walls this year. I want to start the making a home process now.... I didn't ever decorate before because I kept telling myself less is cleaner but the truth is since Christmas decor is down, my home is a house its empty and I want to make it cozy. (Of course I still want it to be done in a fashion that will eventually "move" into our new one and fit just right too) hmmm I never set resolutions but I am now!!! Look out paint world, I'm coming to customize my home or find one that is custom to what I want. ha ha. I guess I just need a change and of course you've all heard me say before I need to remodel the home to what I want!!! I'll by busy this year but its progress this time around.

Its the New year and I still cant post ontime

Oh well, It's not anything I'm stressing over or worried about. Blogging will be here when I get around to it. Kinda like my laundry. I am adjusting to being a stay at home mom!!! Its great, I love every minute Halli and I have together. But my dear husband has informed me that being a stay at home mom also means cleaning the house and cooking and running errands. Wait wait I have to work still? I thought it was all about taking naps and playing with baby!!!! Then again I can't say I don't agree with him... The house could use more than a once over.

We welcome Nate and the kids who are staying with us for a spell!!! House guests also need to be entertained. So I'll get around to completing the cleaning I started last week another day!!!

I have to note for the new year (Auntie Char this is for you mostly) My fav' absolute fav' boutique has opened a new location!!!! IN LAYTON! Its by Big Lots North by Layton Hills mall. Called Whimsy!!!! I'm in love with shopping again!!! So do I hear a shopping date being arranged with lunch specials too? (Hmmm Auntie Char email me to schedule a D/T)

Oh my poor husband just laughed when I saw it and had to call him to inform him he'll be working more to support my poor habit. Good thing he found humor in it cause I wasn't kidding. I thought as long as he can laugh the bill off its good! Only kidding of course. I wish I could shop till I drop but I'll keep my limits within a good range.

Baby Blessing

Thank you to everyone who attended Halli's baby blessing. Sorry we didn't get around to posting it sooner. I have very limited pictures of this event as we had purchased a new digi cam and didn't think to get a memory card. Who knew it would limit our picture taking to 13 pics? All of baby and none our guests. So as we are waiting for others to "be developed" please enjoy the cutie pie pics we did get. It was a special event and we were glad those of you who could did come and share the event with us. And a special thanks to Mom (Colleen) and Monica for helping out by bringing the extra and super yummy muffins. We were surrounded by family and great friends and the wonderful spirit that filled our hearts and home will always be cherished. Halli's blessing was Sunday December 7, 2008.

Happy Thanksgiving

We went to Dad and Moms for Turkey. It was nice to visit with family and to see how everyone has changed. The food was great the pies were fantastic and the day went by to fast. Funny that the whole production of turkey dinner takes so long, and the actual din part is so short before your so full and tired you can't think straight. Or in my case remember what your talking about half way through the conversations let alone finish a sentence and make sense. Thank you Halli for lack of sleep and what I'm sure was entertainment to anyone trying to visit with me. Sorry to all that I tried to talk to and couldn't get it right. On that note. Sorry to those of you who have received a Baby blessing invite only to read my mistake on calling it a shower. I completely blame post pregnancy brain. We are grateful for our many blessings, family, friends and many treasures. Mostly We are thankful to each other and our kids who put up with us. Much love to all this Holiday season we love you all and are grateful and Thankful for the presence you've had in our lives. (Grandma I counted my peanuts from my Thanksgiving cup and realized my blessings and things I'm Thankful for and let's just say my cup runneth over.)

Baby Blessing notice

I am such a procrastinator! I am sending invites out for Halli's blessing however my intent on being crafty is a failure. I am thinking if I were a smart woman I would have just ordered the birth announcements from the photo shop. But no I tried to think I could make something cute. Of course my ideas and my abilities are two different things. So they are coming. But in case you need advanced notice to schedule. Halli is being blessed on Sunday December 7, 2008 at 9AM at the chapel located on Angel street. (between Gentile and Weaver Lane. I'll get address later. Keep an eye open for you invite. To those family members who I have forget please forgive me in advance and know you are welcome to join the event.

Nicholas made it

Due to our travels to Texas and having a baby just before Nicholas' 12th Birthday we were a little off track... However We just wanted to congratulate Mr. Nicholas for being ordained today into the priesthood.

Thank you Dad, mom, Kyle, Nate, Hunter and Sierra for attending such a great event.

Sorry Nick-ie boo for being an emotional mommie and crying over you getting so old and for crying over the very special and heart warming blessing Dad offered in your ordination. We are so proud of you and we love you so very much!!!!
